An applicant must be at
least 16 1/2 yrs. of age, have good moral character and be free of
contagious disease. Regular students must hold a high school diploma or GED certificate, or be beyond the age of compulsory school attendance in Indiana and have the ability to benefit from the training of this institution. |

Our Tuition Payment Plan is as follows. |
In order to become a
licensed barber in the State of Indiana requires the following... Be at least 18 to take the state board examination. Score at least 75% on the practical test and 75% on the written test. Pass the state examination after graduation to receive an Indiana registered Master Barber License to practice in Indiana. |

is required to take an aptitude test prior to acceptance. 2. Pay $50 application fee plus 1 month's tuition. 3. Submit a copy of high school diploma or GED 4. Submit a picture ID. |

Kenny's Academy of barbering is a private corporation founded in September 1992 by Mr. Gregory M. Kenny. Mr. Kenny is committed to helping the community and is a firm believer in the principles of the Bible. He opened his first barbershop in 1988 and now owns seven barbershops throughout Indianapolis. His Academy serves as an example of what can be accomplished through hard work and determination. At Kenny's Academy we strive for excellence in the areas of professionalism, ethics and customer service, while preparing our students for today's competitive workforce. |
